Hi Ray, thank you!  I sent them to the factory/office address I had somewhere, on a card or something, it was in Georgia.

You know its funny, I remember when I was early 20's, about 30 yrs ago.  I had a boat that was left to me by father in law and all I had to do was go get it.  So, I drive 1100 miles, this perfect condition boat was a mess.   I had to buy a hitch for my car so I did somewhere, and went back to inlaws to install.   I had to drill some pretty big holes in the frame and steel bumper, so I got some bit somewhere, napa or sears, and didn't really know anything, and each hole took what seemed like hours.  It was hours and when I was finished the drill was ruined, the bearings and motor were finished.  So this bit, I tossed in my tool box and remember sharpening it one time and did it with a file.  I knew nothing about sharpening bits so I just got a good point and sharp edges and it seemed ok, but I never used it in carbon steel again like the frame of the car.   Fast forward, the hard steel bits.  The first one I bought was a small one to get a bolt out that had an screw/bolt extractor broken off in it.  My wife or son got it, I sent them, and when I got it I looked at this thing and said what? Is this for wood or foam or something?  No this is what the guy said you wanted, and so I called to make sure.  I had already tried left hand bits and titanium bits, and this extractor was HARD steel.  I got this chucked up and (using air drill) thought ok, here we go, and within not long, I see shavings and voila, a hole!  I was sold.

It makes my index of cobalt bits kinda useless.  I make gun parts and sometimes you have to cut hardened steel.  You cannot anneal it because you don't want to be resposible for hardneing some gun chamber or bolt or whatever, in case it blows up in your face, but these bits ===all of your products that I have, which are several, and more each time I need something, are excellent.  Just excellent.   That's why I was so panic stricken when the fire, the rust, sure they are replaceable, but you kind of get a sentimental attachment if you know what I mean.

Andy-

I needed a #9 drill bit to augment a tap for a grease fitting on the foot-shifter housing of a Harley. I'll tell you, it makes a difference when you perform work with quality tools. Got the bit and it performed the job like cutting through butter.
Thank you very much.

"Hello Andy,

Thank you for replying so quickly! Much faster than I expected! I purchased the set directly from KnKut's website. The order # was 700278. The bits that I have used have performed flawlessly. Much better than cheaper bits that I've purchased in the past. In my opinion, Ray Charles himself could see the difference between these and other cheaper, inferior bits!!!

It's refreshing to see that there is still a company out there today that cares about their products and their customers! Thank you again for all your help. Your efforts are appreciated!!! You have gained a long-time, reliable customer that will recommend your products to everyone he knows! Thank you again!"

"Hey Andy,

Everything is going great. Bits are awesome. We installed a new ramp set up for the Dynojet and had to make some holes in the main frame and the bits were flawless and never got hot at all. They cut like a dream. Thanks again for the nice assortment and for your help.

Morning Andy,
No fancy paper-just a note in review. After talking with you yesterday, I'm sure my incorrect use contributed to tool failure. I appreciate your evaluation and will pay for the replacements to complete the set. Your professionalism and service is tops.

Respectfully,

Hi Andy,
I received your package yesterday and you did not have to do what you did for me. I do however sincerely appreciate it! I would also appreciate a quick insight on the intended use of this design bit and I'll tell you why. If these are made with the intention of handling hard materials such as drill bits or extractors that are broken off in a hole, how would you avoid subjecting the bit to an open hole situation. I just don't want to ruin the replacements. I get in trouble and it's not often but when I do it is removing a broken piece as described. Typically it is a dissimilar metals seizure i.e. steel to aluminum. If there is a recommended publication on drilling and the likes I would purchase it and improve my common sense understanding. Aside from all that I am sending you a check today for the amount of $29.09 and thanks again! By all means you may use my letter in anyway that will best serve you. I look forward to doing business soon on some other specialty items. Have a great week and a wish to continued success. I will recommend you to all my business friends with these types of problems.

Regards,

Mike T.
